camera strap

i felt very creative today and tried my hand at some sewing. i think my strap came out beautifully even though it was my second try. thanks for every one who have taken the time to upload tutorials for making a camera strap, it takes the guess work out of the making it and with loads of ideas of how to finish it of.

altered matchbox

today i made a gift for my friends husband who can never find matches when he wants to start the fire. well no more searching for matches.
i adhered 4 matchboxes together added a top and bottom with TH's craft embossed paper and added his name on the top. i then realized that the boxes was difficult to pull out, luckily i remembered the knobs that i once bought and not yet found something to make with. perfect now you can pull them out with ease. hope he likes it, as my husband wants one for himself.

i moved my furniture around to get more light in my room. love the way it looks now, and there is more space to work on.

the hole in my ear

so i still have not found exactly what I wanted for my ear, but thought that this will do for now. my ear is still tender after 5 months. but with this ring it's much better and nothing can pull on it.

the life of a sunflower

this is a sunflower that came up by itself from my cockatiels food that i through out at the back of my garden for the wild birds. gorgeous at first when starting to bloom, and still pretty even when almost dead. i have now harvested the seeds and will sundry them for lilo to eat.
